Putting which foot forward?

I haven't seen this mentioned in the conventional media though it's had a good run online. On the one hand it's reasuring to know that the US Vice President (one heartbeat or should it be one false step away from the Presidency?) is as fallible as many of us; on the other we may well wonder whether this man and his entourage of minders can't do better than this.
